This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1929 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before a time my Great Aunts can remember. :-) I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes.

I'm so glad I stumbled upon this auction. See, ladies? If you only have a yard an a half of material you can still use it for that bustle skirt! This is basically a four panel skirt with the front panel being a ruffled front. Very cool!
