Bustle Era Wedding Gown

From the seller:

A STUNNING ANTIQUE 1800's WEDDING OR FORMAL DRESS

MADE OF SILK TWILL WITH WHALE BONE STAYS

AND A TRAIN

THE SATIN LABEL INSIDE THE TOP AND SKIRT READS "M.L. FLATTERY 406 BOYLSTON ST. BOSTON"

VERY SMALL

THE DRESS IS NOT FRAGILE OR STIFF

THE TOP HAS PUSH UPS INSIDE LIKE A VICTORIA'S SECRET BRA SO I DON'T BELIEVE YOU WOULD NEED TO WEAR ONE

THERE ARE A FEW SMALL SPOTS ON THE SKIRT WHERE IT WOULD FLOW ON THE FLOOR BUT OTHERWISE IS IN GOOD CONDITION

GORGEOUS

AS THE STORY GOES A PRESIDENT'S WIFE WORE THIS DRESS TO A LARGE CHARITY BALL

IT CAME FROM AN ATTIC IN MAINE

AND I AM STILL RESEARCHING

MID TO LATE 1800'S

From Me:

Based on what we can see of the skirt and the bodice, my guess this is 1870's rather than 1880's. The asymmetrical skirts were more popular in the 1870's and the neckline is more popular in that time as well.

  1. If you would have given me your real email instead of you and your friends stalking me I would not have to post this here. But, there is no other way to contact you. I don't even know you or your friends whoever they are? But I BOLUGHT my photo in my banner.. I PAID FOR IT1111 SO YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS LEAVE ME ALONE, PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO THEM. You accused me of closing my blog and shop because of this, but I did not and am doing nothing wrong. please do no contact me or bother me again. One of your friends bragged in a email to me, that they had me shut down. Have you looked at what i sell? Its crocheted items! THEY ARE MY PICTURES> So PLEASE STOP HARRASING ME, I bought the photo in my banner for use in my banner and YES i bought the licence!!!! DO I need to send you a copy of my credit card reciept? 1. So...you delete my comment, come into my journal to drag your drama and refuse to actually attempt to email the people that have been emailing you back? Yes, I asked them. Of the three that responded, they said they haven't heard a peep back from you. I will give a full report in your own journal -where it belongs- proving you have a history of stealing images and claiming them as your own work.
