This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. Mid 19th Century (?) Ottoman Women's Coat

19TH CENTURY ANTIQUE OTTOMAN TURKISH HAND LOOMED SILK WOMAN DRESS ANTERI

Dimensions.
118cm in length
shoulder to shoulder: 43cm
arms lenght:59cm
material: HAND LOMED SILK FABRIC WITH RED AND WHITE STRIPED.

It is in great condition!No tears,no holes,no fabric discoloration.

I'm not sure if this is 19th Century or not. It might be earlier based on the detailing on the edges.
