Purple Edwardian Blouse

From the seller:

Antique Victorian 19th Century Purple Silk Bodice With Raised White Cord Stitching

This bodice dates to the Victorian turn of the century and is fashioned of a bright purple silk de chine fabric which is woven with raised white cord stitching. The front is cut in pigeon style, sleeve has a large puff fullness at the wrist that is drawn in by a band cuff that is trimmed in floral chemical lace and velvet ribbon. Matching trim runs up the front snap enclosure and on the front side of each bust. The interior is fully lined in cotton and is fully boned on the inside. This piece may have had a high collar at one time, age color is seen at the edge of the neckline from the exterior, neckline color is seen on the interior with several small points of brown staining seen to the front and slight soiling seen to the lace on the cuffs and the cuffs edge. The piece is fully strong and wearable, measures 36 inches around the bust, 30 inches around the waist, and 15 inches in center rear length.

From Me:

A wearable size!

Hello new people! I'm sorry I can't type much. The cat is okay with cut and paste but typing apparently disturbs his sleep.
