Titanic Era Walking Suit

From the seller:

This Titanic Edwardian era white linen battenburg tape lace walking suit coat and skirt dates from 1912. It is made of a fine quality white linen fabric, with decorative cut work, battenburg tape lace with connecting brides and bars done in a scrolling, spiral pattern design. This ladies lovely lace travel walking suit includes a loose fitting mid length duster tuxedo style coat jacket, with a low V front neckline, cropped front, skirted split cutaway coat tail back and 3/4 length sleeves. There are etched mother of pearl buttons for closure on the front and decorative buttons on the bottom back. This is a nice wearable large size. The coat is unlined and measures 30 inches long, with 40 inch hips, a 32 inch waist, 40 inch bust and 16 inch back. Included is a matching fabric long floor length full skirt, with a slight back train. The skirt is unlined and measures 40 inches long, 46 inch hips and a 30 inch waist. This wonderful women's walking suit is in good wearable clean condition, with several breaks and repairs on the connecting thread brides and bars. It is truly a wonderful piece of wearable antique lace textile art!

From Me:

A wearable sized outfit! Yay!
