Black and White Summer Outfit

This auction is for a stunning Antique Late Victorian Bohemian Hungarian embroidered floral bodice that is pleated for waist fit and has a ribbon threaded top ~ detachable sleeves are not present.... sheer in linen silk mix batiste. This has separations at hem seams near waist at top there are marks etc to one side as shown and marks, uncleaned and as found a beauty for sure. Measures 30 bust with open laceup back 28 waist and 31 at hem. Note this has general wear, is wearable but not mint. This is a stunning camisole or corset style antique bodice, the panels of embroidered flowers divine ~ the skirt is listed  separate and shown for reference only. It is in another auction. as shown above there are discolorations we have not cleaned, seam separations and wear holes to one side with marks. This appears to be handmade.

Ruffled flounce hem, and sheer in linen silk mix batiste. This has separations at hem seams near waist at top there are holes as shown and marks, uncleaned and as found a beauty for sure. Measures 57 inches long at rear 47 at front (some of th ruffle hem is absent as shown here), 25.5 inch waist. The fray holes at top are near the seams. This is stunning, the panels of embroidered flowers divine ~ the bodice top is separate and shown for reference only. It is in another auction.

This seller is slowly learning not to take apart historical garments. :-) I'm not sure where the sleeves/rest of the bodice went but I'm inclined to agree that it's late Victorian. Most likely 1890's.
