Lovely Lavender Teens Era Dress

From the seller:

This is an extraordinary two piece Belle Epoch era gown in a lavender silk floral design with large puff sleeves, cotton lace, velvet trim, two button rosettes on the back waist, tiny silk thread covered dangle beads, and a ruffle around the skirt bottom.
The "pigeon breast" bodice has a beautiful embroidered floral applique at the neck, mixed cotton net and lace , velvet trims, and wide pleated waistband.
On the back there are two "tails" decorated with velvet covered buttons on velvet rosettes and dangles.
It fastens with hooks and eyes on the back and underneath is a corset like lining that is stayed.
There is a label that fell off from somewhere on the inside of the dress that reads:
Gleeson.
Albany, N.Y.

The puffy lace sleeves have the velvet trim, velvet bows, and dangles.

The skirt is trained in the back and it has a ruffle.
The skirt fastens at the waist with hook and eye.

The dress is in wearable good condition.
The silk bodice lining and sleeve lining is shattered but does not affect the bodice.
There is a seam separation under one arm (photo) and on the back near the hooks and eyes. There are a few dangles missing.

It measures:
Bodice:

neck.....17"
bust......38"
waist.....29"
neck to hem front...18"
neck to hem back....15"
sleeve..........17"

Skirt:
waist..........24"
waist to hem front......41"
waist to hem back........47"

From Me:

This is actually post Belle Epoque - probably around 1909-1912. I adore the back detail with the small "tails".
