Quilted WInter Bonnet

From the seller:

An original circa 1850 lady's wadded and hand quilted striped silk taffeta Winter hood or bonnet. Lined in a brown cotton, with a bias cut neck curtain, accent bows at the top, and dark blue chin ties. Recently de-accessioned from a New York State museum with its 1978 museum accession numbered tag still attached. 10" deep and 10" tall as shown. In clean as found condition, with scattered frayed wear, one period patch to the lining, and later chin ties. All is reflected in the reserve price for this attractive mid 19th century wadded bonnet.

From Me:

Happy End of the World tomorrow! (Just in case I don't post tomorrow cause of the solar flares and all) And yes, what the seller said.
