This is a place for any extant garments in private collections from about 1941 back. There is no beginning date. The only rule is that it can't be currently in a museum and must be before the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I mostly post items I've seen on ebay, etsy, or other auction sites so we will continue to have a record of them for research purposes. Pinstripe Suit Jacket, Edwardian style

RARE VICTORIAN MEN’S PINSTRIPED FROCK COAT
THREE BUTTON CLOSURE IN THE FRONT WITH AN ANGLED CUT BENEATH THE BOTTOM BUTTON
ANGLED CHEST POCKET ON THE FRONT
VENTED REAR TAIL WITH BUTTON TRIMS
LINED IN BROWN SILK BENGALINE IN THE BODY, SHIRTING IN THE SLEEVES WITH SOME PATCHES ON INNER LINING UNDERARMS
SMALL EDGE FRAY AT THE CUFF EDGES AND COLLAR FOLD REAR WITH AN ERASER SIZED HOLE AT THE BOTTOM SIDE EDGE
OTHERWISE EXCELLENT CONDITION - AN EDGE BINDING WOULD FULLY HIDE THE FRAY
